Hiking Trails

Maintained frequently, Basecamp is home to a network of simple trails with easy access along the river. The trails are a great way to explore the property on foot in the high season or by snowshoe and skis in winter. Keep an eye out for animal tracks!

Wood-Fired Sauna

A favorite of our staff, the 8-person wood-fired sauna proves again and again to be a haven in the cooler months. With its stunning exterior and proximity to the pond for a cooling dip, it’s sure to be a focal point of your stay.

Hot Tub

Our outdoor, 8-person hot tub near the pond and sauna and tucked into a grove of poplar trees, is our dreamiest way to stargaze.

The Firepit

Conveniently located near the sauna and hot tub, our firepit features seating made by our friends at High Five Adventure Learning Center.

3-Hole Golf Range

Our largest plot of mowed land is home to our  small golf course — great for first-timers and the seasoned putter.

Stonewall - Outdoor Bar and Grill

Equipped with a nearby outdoor grill and kiosk bar service, this space is a focal point for evening activities.

The Pond

The changing seasons of the Vermont landscape transform our spring-fed pond from a refreshing summer swimming oasis to a slippery skating surface, perfect for folks of every age.

The River Beach

Less than a 5 minute walk from the Main Lodge, we’re proud to maintain the beachfront for all to enjoy. The river is shallow — retaining the sun’s warmth (a rarity in New England) and is the perfect depth for little ones.

The Sugar Shack

Steps from the Main Lodge and outfitted with a pool/ping-pong/foosball table, board games, soundsystem, tv, woodstove, and small bar, the Sugar Shack is the perfect space to warm up and chill out after a day of play.

The Camp Store offers a little bit of everything.,,,snacks for munching, adult and kid friendly beverages, provisions for s'mores making, and Basecamp merch you can't go home without.
